In 2019 Landmark announced a major sponsorship of Esmee Hawkey

Taking the role of Landmark’s Brand Ambassadorship is exciting for both Landmark and Esmee Hawkey during 2019.

Esmee began racing in karting at the age of 9 and moved up to racing cars aged 15, racing a Ginetta junior. In 2016 she progressed to GT racing, driving a Porsche Cayman GT4, becoming vice champion in her very first year. In 2017, she continued to race a Porsche Cayman GT4 and had multiple wins and fastest laps, as well as winning the Brighton Speed Trials for Porsche GB. At the end of 2017, she was chosen as a finalist in the Porsche GB Junior shootout. After a close fought battle, she was highly praised by Porsche GB Motorsport Management. For 2018, Esmee will be the Brand Ambassador for the Jardine group’s Porsche Centre South London. A new state of the art, official Porsche dealership in Sidcup, Kent. Following on the path of the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid, Esmee moved up to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship.

Esmee switches her focus from the W Series during 2019 back to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB campaign in 2020.  Now part of Team Parker she has had a strong start to the season with podium successes already.

We at Landmark are excited to be in partnership with Esmee Hawkey and with support from Esmee we will see our brand awareness grow. This is an exciting for us both. Support Esmee during her Porsche Carrera Cup GB campaign both on the circuit and ITV4.

The W Series

It all started with the inaugural at Hockenheim on May 4 2019, shown on Channel 4. Esmee fought hard and has left a lasting mark on this competition. 

The W Series championship, which was designed to get women into top-tier racing driving. In total 18 female drivers have been selected via a qualifying process. A total prize fund of $1.5 million (£1.16m). For the racer that comes out on top overall, she will take home the top prize of $500,000 (£368,000). W Series CEO, Catherine Bond Muir said: “This is a historic moment for us.

“The UK, with its incredible love of motorsport, is a cornerstone market for W Series. ” What better way to engage and entertain than with live coverage of our all-female single-seater racing?
